Motherland Journeys Return & Refund Policy (Deposit Policy)

At Motherland Journeys, we understand that plans can change. Please review our Return & Refund Policy carefully before booking.

Deposit Requirement

A $500 deposit per person is required to secure your reservation and confirm participation in a Motherland Journeys travel package.

Refund Policy for Deposits

 Refundable Deposit (Within 30 Days of Booking)

Your $500 deposit is refundable within 30 days of booking, provided the trip has not begun and the reservation has not been transferred.

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

• Please allow standard processing time depending on your bank or payment provider.

 Non-Refundable Deposit (After 30 Days of Booking)

If you cancel your trip after 30 days from the booking date, the $500 deposit becomes non-refundable.

However, your deposit will be applied as a:

Trip Credit

• The $500 deposit will be converted into a Motherland Journeys travel credit for a future trip.

• This credit must be redeemed within 180 days (6 months) of the cancellation date.

• Credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and can only be used toward Motherland Journeys travel packages.

How to Cancel

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing:

(Include full name, trip destination/date, and booking confirmation number.)

Important Notes

• Refunds/credits apply only to the deposit portion ($500) unless otherwise stated in your booking agreement.

• If a trip is rescheduled or adjusted by Motherland Journeys due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposit may be carried forward per company guidance.

• Additional payments made beyond the deposit may be subject to separate cancellation terms outlined in your trip agreement.

Please include a return address in the instructions and include a right to return with free postage for a full refund within 14 days of delivery (must be unopened/unused for sanitary reasons to qualify.) Restock fees, credit/exchange is not applicable for Klarna purchases and refunds are issued within 14 business days.
